We worked with Claude and Moni from the very beginning of our journey. From seeking out the lot to completion, they were both accommodating and professional. We had ideas of what we were seeking in an inner city home but they brought expertise and guidance to ensure things were functional, high quality and on budget. At the end of the day, we knew they wanted us to be happy with the project. It wasn’t about flipping a house. This was the challenge when we first looked at inner city homes. There’s lots of projects out there but you won’t come across many where the builders are as passionate about the work that goes into the build as Claude and Moni. We trusted they had our best interest in mind about all aspects of the project and communicated easily throughout the span of the build. From the design, to the build, to the follow ups, we were always taken care of. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

We bought a home from the Inspired Group and the process initially began in the fall of 2016. Claude/Moni mentioned they had bought a lot and was about to begin their new project. They contacted us to see if we were interested. When we saw the lot and talked to them about their previous projects we decided to buy from Claude/Moni. From the start Claude/Moni were very responsive and detail oriented. They paid extra attention to build to our needs and made sure if there were sales and deals that they passed those on to us, the buyer. They made sure we were informed during the entire process from sale of the existing lot, permitting, tear down and all the way up to possession date. They took time on weekends and weeknights to run errands and meet up with us to discuss options in regards to the new build.
The inspector doing the final inspection of the home prior to final purchase commented that the build quality was very good compared to other infills he has inspected in the past.
In short I would not hesitate to work with Claude/Moni as I can confirm they are people with honesty, integrity and they stand by their work. Even after handover of the home, Claude/Moni still take the time to come and troubleshoot any issues we may have, making sure we are settled into the new house.
I have no problem recommending Inspired Group to anyone looking for an infill home.

"My wife and I built our house with Claude and Moni in 2012. It was the third house we had built, but was by far and away our best experience. The two previous times we built were with large well known builders and building with Claude and Moni was the first time we had built with a smaller boutique builder. Any questions we may have had about professionalism or ability vanished after our first meeting. Claude and Moni were professional, knowledgeable and brought a personal touch that we had not experienced in building our other houses. At the time we purchased the house it was partially completed and they were just about to start working on the interior finishing. Although they had already specked out many of the finishes and had been working with certain suppliers once we committed to working with Claude and Moni they were open to our ideas and were extremely flexible with whom we chose as suppliers. They helped guide us through the process, but allowed us the flexibility to make our own choices and helped us execute on them. Although our home has high quality finishings and we are very pleased with the workmanship we did requested a few upgrades, including a steam shower, basement bar and expanded patio which were completed on time and for less than the price initially quoted. Throughout the process we were welcome and in fact invited to drop by the house whenever we wanted to check on its status or just watch the progress. Whenever we had any questions Claude and Moni were easy to contact and on the odd occasion when we didn’t talk to them immediately they returned our calls promptly. Like many new homes there were a few deficiencies to be completed when we moved in, however, Claude and Moni identified these and moved quickly to remedy them. In fact almost six month after we moved in we were having issues with a light and when I called Claude he came over immediately to look at it and when it could be easily repaired he suggested replacing it and is in the process of doing so at no cost to us. We are very pleased not only with how our home turned out but just as pleased with the process. I would have no hesitation recommending Claude and Moni to friends and family who are thinking of building a new home."

We purchased our home from the Inspired Group in February, 2013 during the early construction phase of the building. We got in at the time where we would be able to pick all of our own flooring, counter tops, tiles, lighting and do a kitchen modification that met our needs. Having this opportunity was really tremendous because we were able to have all the spatial design elements of the home which we loved (and why we purchased) as well as, have our own personal taste be reflected in our home.
The modern architecture, use of space, and attention to detail during construction was excellent. Claude and Moni Campagne, the owners, were very knowledgeable and accommodating through all phases of the build especially with our customizations. The property was move in ready on time. The fence and the lawn were done quickly and professionally. Claude and Moni, are friendly, conscientious, flexible and meticulous about their work and product. We were always impressed with how clean and tidy the building site was through the process. It made us feel that the trades people were respectful of the property and they took pride in the work they do. We had extremely positive interactions with any of the trades people involved; always willing to make time to answer questions to our understanding and satisfaction, willing to make adjustments or changes, or just generally wanting us happy with the outcome and process. We were welcomed to view our home as often as we wanted during the build. We appreciated all of this!
The Inspired Group are well connected with an excellent set of trade professionals and vendors which provided a great quality of work and products for our home. There was no need to spend a lot of time researching or finding the best quality products to use as they were already available or recommended. Claude and Moni recommended vendors that could provide additional add on services like security systems, air conditioning, window treatments and vacu-flo components. We were very happy with these options, services and the contacts that we could use right away or at a future time.
We took possession of our home within two weeks of the flood in Calgary. We did not have to endure any delays with the trades or completion permits which we did have concerns about given the potentially difficult time in the city. This impressed us.
Overall, we were very happy with product and service provided by the Inspired Group. We felt we could completely trust them as a builder, allowing us to focus on other aspects of our move to the new home.
We would highly recommend the Inspired Group as a quality custom builder and would definitely want this experience again."
